A DARK AND RESINOUS ROSE CENTIFOLIA IN OVERDOSE - A LOVE LETTER
Matière Première produce their own organic Rose Centifolia Absolute in Grasse, southern France. This production birthed the idea of Radial Rose, a scent based on exactly that - an overdose of Rose Centifolia Absolute. A concentration rarely seen in the perfume world. The unique texture of the Centifolia Rose resonates in all senses when you experience Radical Rose, a clear sign of perfumer Aurélien Guichard's love and affection for the rose and its dynamic facets.
Saffron and Pepperberry give the scent a bright spiciness, and a dark woody aspect comes from a molecular destillation of Patchouli. A concentrate where only the deep heart of the Patchouli is kept, without its campherous aspects. When the Centifolia Rose is picked it gives off a resinous scent, this resinous scent has been enhanced in Radical Rose using Labdanum, a note that is extracted from the same rose.
