Back to the Office: Finding the Balance Between Professional and Personal
Late summer feels like the perfect moment to change fragrance. A new scent can make the return to everyday routines feel a little more inspiring. We can either hold on to summer with something bright, green, aquatic or citrus-led, or begin the gradual shift towards autumn with woods, spices, iris and softer, darker notes.
The office, however, comes with its own fragrance etiquette. How much is too much when the next desk is only a metre away? We prefer presence over projection: a scent that reveals itself when someone comes closer, rather than announcing your arrival before you turn the corner.
And perhaps every working day does not need to smell the same. Something crisp and energising when you need to wake up your mind, something softer for long hours in front of the screen, and something with a little more authority for the meeting where you want to feel especially focused and composed.
Fragrance, after all, is not only about how we are perceived by others. It can also shape how we feel ourselves. Sometimes, a few well-chosen sprays are all it takes to move from back to work to ready for work.
Bright, clean fragrances with a distinct character of their own. Fresh enough to wake up the senses, yet far from anonymous or simply “freshly washed.”
Spicy fragrances with a softer touch. Warm woods and spices add depth without taking over the room.
Fragrances with a little more presence, without ever needing to raise their voice. Composed, distinctive and perfect for days when you want to feel especially confident.
House Favourites

Sinclair
MoëhrA cocktail of lavender vermouth and smoky incense, served with a single olive. Aromatic lavender meets the dark depth of incense, while olive adds an unexpected green, subtly salty note.

M.D
D'OrsayAn elegant, understated composition where bamboo, black pepper and ambergris meet neroli and lily of the valley. The result is a clean, modern and subtly sensual fragrance that stays close to the skin.

Aereo
PigmentariumThe scent of the legendary Sumi ink, traditionally made in Japanese temples, blends with sacred incense, patchouli and amber to create a dark, seductive fragrance. Then the composition shifts, lifted by magnolia and fresh aldehydes that bring an unexpected sense of lightness.
