Iris Wallpaper

Story:

Giuseppina Strepponi, Giuseppe Verdi's muse, passed away in 1897. Her absolute favorite flower was the iris.
When she died, Verdi was so devastated that he seemed to be overcome by a cheek of ecstatic grief, and had the entire Casa Verdi adorned with irises. In Strepponi's room, there was eventually not a single spot left on the walls that was not covered with irises.

And to this day, it is said that one can still detect a faint scent of iris in the house.
