Ad Libitum

Ad Libitum is the fragrance that launched Pigmentarium and set the tone for the house’s modern aesthetic.

The composition is a contemporary interpretation of chypre - one of the most influential fragrance families of the early 20th century, which shaped European perfumery for decades.

Its inspiration comes from Prague’s functionalist architecture of the 1920s and the new ideas around form, proportion and modernity associated with figures such as Le Corbusier and Adolf Loos. The result is a fragrance with the same sense of precision and restrained elegance – classical in structure, yet distinctly modern in expression.

Since its launch, Ad Libitum has been recognised by international fragrance experts and perfume media and is regarded as one of Pigmentarium’s signature scents.
